01Who we are

Mega Shop Source ("we", "us") runs the online store at megashopsource.com from 243 Southbridge Dr, San Antonio, TX 78216, USA. You can reach us at support@megashopsource.com or +1 210-377-0582. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have.

02Information we collect

Order details: name, email, phone, delivery address, items ordered and any gift message or recipient email you provide.
Messages: what you send through the contact form, by email or by phone.
Newsletter: your email address, optional first name and interests.
Device storage: your cart, saved items, promo code and recently viewed products are kept in your browser's local storage on your device. We don't receive this unless you place an order.
Basic logs: our web host may record IP addresses and browser types for security and troubleshooting.

We do not collect card numbers on this site. Payments are taken on a secure page provided by our payment processor, which handles your card details under its own privacy policy.

03How we use it

To process and deliver orders, send payment links and order updates, and handle returns.
To answer questions and provide support.
To send The Mega Memo if you subscribed.
To prevent fraud, keep the site secure and meet legal and tax obligations.

We share information only with service providers who help us run the store, such as our payment processor, shipping and freight carriers, eGift card issuers, email and hosting providers, and only as needed for those tasks. We may disclose information when required by law. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

05Your Texas privacy rights

Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (Tex. Bus. & Com. Code ch. 541), to the extent it applies to us, and as our own practice for all customers, you may ask us to:

confirm whether we process your personal data and get a copy of it;
correct inaccurate data;
delete data you provided or that we hold about you;
opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising or profiling (we don't do any of these).

Email support@megashopsource.com with the subject "Privacy request". We will verify your request and reply within 45 days. If we decline, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and we will answer the appeal within 60 days. If you are unhappy with the result you may contact the Texas Attorney General.

06Security and breaches

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections and limited staff access. If a breach of system security affects your sensitive personal information, we will notify you as required by the Texas Identity Theft Enforcement and Protection Act (Tex. Bus. & Com. Code ch. 521), and the Texas Attorney General where the law requires.

07How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed for tax, accounting and warranty purposes, generally up to seven years. Contact messages are kept for up to two years. Newsletter data is deleted when you unsubscribe, except for a suppression record so we don't email you again.

08Emails and children

Marketing emails follow the CAN-SPAM Act and include a working unsubscribe link. You can also use our unsubscribe page. Order emails are not marketing and will still be sent.

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information, consistent with COPPA. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

09Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
